Highlights

Tennessee Harvester is a startup hemp extraction company based in Nashville. Their intent is to produce a line of broad spectrum hemp extracts with the ability to offer private labelling services to different companies within the hemp industry.

The company reached out to Iron Light for design and engineering support for their new extraction setup as well as cGMP documentation and design considerations.

Initial project efforts were focused on assisting in mass balance calculations and a review of proposed equipment as it related to C1D1 requirements, cGMP requirements and operational parameters. Over time the roll shifted to focus more on building specifics and then to overall process flow and production considerations.

The final aspect of the project was cGMP support where Iron Light provided over 80 template compliance and operational document for customization based on the unique operational characteristics and regulations at the site. Further, supporting calls were held to continue increasing the efficiency and productivity of the production line and ensuring that cGMP protocols could be maintained.
