The company contracted Iron Light to design and prototype a custom packaging solution for their products with the option for initial short run production via 3D printing and utilizing plant based plastics that contain hemp cellulose.

Impact Naturals is currently developing a number of different products that contain hemp extracts. To meet their sustainability goals and create a unique customer experience, the founders started searching for custom packaging solutions.
They reached out to Iron Light in order to not only design something specific to their needs but also incorporate plant based plastics with an emphasis on hemp containing plastic composites.
After initial consultations, the base design was created and drafted using 3D modelling software followed by a screen share review with the Impact Naturals team. After each review several prototype units were 3D printed and shipped for internal testing with a focus on functionality and durability.
Thus far, 3 iterations have been created with the most recent version containing 100% plant based plastic and holding the target level of product in each package unit.
