Bearhat Beverages
Bearhat Beverages is a Montana based beverage company that produced a line of functional ginger tonic water. The product contained a unique blend of probiotics blended with natural ingredients and carbonated. Distribution was local with various grocery stores carrying the brand.
The company contracted Iron Light to over see the buildout of the brand from product curation and development to creative including web buildout and strategy.

Bearhat Beverages was a startup beverage company in Missoula, MT. Its primary mission was to create, produce and sell a functional and flavored tonic water.
Iron Light was approached to develop the base formulation for the flagship beverage, a ginger flavored tonic with probiotics. Multiple attempts on the formulation were made with primary hurdles being excessive carbonation and blend uniformity. Over multiple formulations these hurdles were overcome. A custom bottling machine was also designed and built to handle the short production runs required for the launch as well as dealing with the specific bottle size and shape.
In addition to product development and production, the brand was built along with an integrated marketing and distribution strategy focused on in-person sales and localized self distribution.
Ultimately Bearhat was able to provide consistent production and distribution of its ginger tonic to 6 retail outlets in Missoula, MT.
